The Bobby Bones Show Shares Their Latest Movie and TV Show Reviews
In their latest installment of Tuesday Reviews Day, The Bobby Bones Show shared their thoughts on a range of new movies and TV shows. From action-packed blockbusters to heartwarming documentaries, the team didn’t hold back on their opinions.
Bobby Bones’ Movie Marathon
Bobby Bones had a busy week, watching not one but three new movies. First up was Monkey Man, which he praised for its action-packed sequences, despite some violent moments. His wife was also a fan, and he gave it a solid 4.5 out of 5 Monkey Masks. Not all of his watches were as successful, however, as he panned Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, calling it “big, dumb action” and rating it a disappointing two yawns. Movie Mike agreed, sharing Bobby’s sentiments on the film’s lack of substance. On a more positive note, Bobby enjoyed the documentary How To Rob a Bank, giving it 3.5 out of 5 Space Needles.

Eddie’s True Crime Obsession
Eddie was hooked on the true crime documentary Perfect Wife: The Mysterious Disappearance of Sherri Papini, which he rated 4.5 out of 5 headphones. The documentary explores the seemingly idyllic family life of Keith and Sherri Papini, which was shattered when Sherri vanished from their northern California neighborhood. Eddie remembered discussing the case on the show years ago and was fascinated by the latest developments.

Amy’s Netflix Binge
Amy had a busy week on Netflix, watching not one but two new releases. First up was A Family Affair, a romantic comedy starring Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron. Amy loved the cheesy love story and rated it 4 out of 5 movie stars. She also started the docuseries America’s Sweethearts, which follows the lives of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. While she hasn’t finished it yet, she found it fascinating and gained a new appreciation for the athleticism required to be a professional cheerleader.

Lunchbox’s Podcast Obsession
Lunchbox listened to the podcast Twin Flames, which explores the world of dating groups and the people who become consumed by them. He was shocked by the stories of people who fell for the scams and ended up in jail, calling them “so stupid.”
Morgan’s Heartwarming Watch
Morgan watched Arthur The King, a heartwarming movie based on a true story about an adventure racing team who adopts a stray dog in the wilderness. She loved the film, rating it 5 out of 5 meatballs, and praised its ability to take her through every emotion.
