Longlegs: A Disappointing and Incoherent Disaster

I must admit, I struggled to find the right words to describe my experience with Longlegs. The film left me with a headache and a bad mood, and I wasn’t the only one who felt that way. After reading some reviews, I noticed that opinions were divided, but I have to disagree with those who think this movie is worth watching.

The editing was horrible, and the storyline didn’t make sense. The filmmakers tried to be too artistic, but it backfired. The only redeeming quality of this disaster was Nicholas Cage’s performance. He was intense, creepy, and believable in his role. His character’s look and demeanor were impressive, and his acting skills are undeniable.

Cage’s performance was the only notable aspect of the film

Unfortunately, the rest of the movie fell flat. The plot was confusing, and the pacing was slow. I found myself checking my watch, hoping it would be over soon. It’s a shame, because with a better script and direction, this film could have been something special.

The Verdict

Longlegs is a disappointment, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s a waste of time, and there are far better movies out there. If you’re a fan of Nicholas Cage, you might enjoy his performance, but that’s about it.
