Martial Arts Flicks: A Blast from the Past
Who doesn’t love a good martial arts film? I certainly do, and I’m not alone. The genre has given us some of the most iconic movies of all time, with legends like Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jean-Claude Van Damme entertaining us with their impressive skills. But as I grew older, my taste in movies evolved, and I found myself moving away from the martial arts genre.
That was until I stumbled upon Jade, a new action film that brought back memories of my favorite childhood movies. The story follows a young woman, Jade, who finds herself caught between a powerful businessman and a gang leader in their search for a hard drive that could damage the operations of Interpol. With her unique set of skills, Jade must navigate this treacherous world and ensure the drive ends up in the right hands.

The film’s protagonist, Shaina West, did all her own stunts, which added to the movie’s authenticity. It’s clear that she’s a talented actress who can hold her own in the action department. The supporting cast, including Mickey Rourke as the villainous Tork, deliver solid performances that add depth to the story.

While Jade may not be a game-changer in the martial arts genre, it’s an entertaining film that’s worth checking out. The action sequences are well-choreographed, and Shaina West’s performance is impressive. If you’re a fan of martial arts flicks, you’ll enjoy this one.
